Permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week.
Primarily working Monday Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

Where will you fit in?
As a brand and communications team, its our job to make sure were delivering the right message, tone, look and feel to our customers, colleagues and stakeholders via the right channels, at the right time.
As Brand Advisor in the Brand and Marketing team, youll report to our Lead Brand Advisor where youll be responsible for driving brand consistency across our communication channels, for customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
Using your knowledge and experience of similar roles, youll be a key contact for the Brand Team and a trusted expert in all things surrounding the Yorkshire Water Brand.Youll be involved in a variety of briefs and projects, such as but not limited to: sharing rules and recommendations from our brand guidelines, selecting and facilitating photography, signage, corporate reports, writing and delivering creative briefs and enhancing branded literature by applying the Yorkshire Water tone of voice guidelines It is a varied role with lots of scope to hone existing skills and learn new ones too.
Youll have excellent communication skills as you work with many stakeholders at different levels to develop and deliver high quality branded communications and materials. Your stakeholders will range across internal and external, including colleagues across the business, your peers, our in-house studio, external agencies and suppliers.
With multiple projects running simultaneously, youll need to have strong organisation and prioritisation skills to ensure realistic timescales are set and met and that plans and processes are put in place and followed by yourself, your peers and stakeholders. Youll also be a great team player, supporting peers and collaborating to get the very best results.
Not forgetting, youll have a creative flair to come up with the best and most engaging ways to communicate our messages to customers, colleagues and stake holders . Youll be able to take insight from previous work to understand what our customers and stakeholders want and need from our communications and make recommendations that balance business needs with the needs of the audience. Youll work with your team mates and extended team (agencies) to build and develop new ideas and youll have the confidence to share these ideas with colleagues and stakeholders allowing us to achieve our strategy and objectives.
What skills & qualifications are we looking for?
Significant brand and communication experience
Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload independently
Creative skills to enable strong brand development
Strong influencing and communication skills to work with key stakeholders
Strong project management and process mapping skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
Great team player with the ability to bring people together under a common goal to achieve desired outcomes
Experience and knowledge of working with creative and print agencies
Knowledge of channels/selected media and using them to target audiences based on experience and customer insight
Experience of working in similar brand/communications roles
Experience in working within an in-house brand/communications team and delivering key projects would be advantageous.
Degree desirable and /or professional qualification equivalent
(CIM or CIPR qualification)
Experience of running brand projects from start to finish and reporting on their outcomes would be advantageous.
