Inspired by Montessori principles, the café features beautifully crafted wooden play elements that foster creativity, independence, and exploration. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment for learning and play while offering parents and caregivers a welcoming space to relax. At Cupcake Kangaroo, we prioritise both child development and community connection in an innovative and engaging setting.

This is a part-time, on-site role for the position of In-Store Manager at Cupcake Kangaroo Play Centre & Café, located in High Wycombe. The In-Store Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain the smooth functioning of the play centre and café. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, implementing retail loss prevention strategies, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. This role also requires active contribution to enhancing the centre’s welcoming atmosphere and engaging with families who visit the centre.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Customer Service and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
  • Excellent Communication skills for effectively engaging with both families and team members
  • Proficiency in Store Management and team leadership
  • Understanding and application of Retail Loss Prevention strategies
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills to manage daily operations efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-focused roles is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a family-friendly setting with children
