We are a well-established boutique employment law firm with a reputation built over years of delivering first class advice to employers and individuals alike. We are small by design – focussed, collegiate, and genuinely invested in the careers of our people. Right now, we are growing, and we want the right person to grow with us.

You will be a central part of a small, close-knit team, working on a range of general advisory and contentious work (with no transactional or corporate support). This will include both straightforward advice on employee exits, as well as interesting, complex matters, and with direct access to senior lawyers and clients.

The role

  • Advise a varied client base: SMEs, UK and global corporates, senior executives, and employees - on the full spectrum of employment law
  • Negotiate and advise on settlement agreements across all sectors
  • Manage and run Employment Tribunal litigation with increasing autonomy as your experience grows
  • Support business development, bringing ideas, build relationships, and help shape how the firm grows
  • Work closely with the Founder, with mentorship and genuine collaboration built into how we operate

What we're looking for

  • Around 2–7+ years PQE in employment law (advisory and contentious employment experience important; incentives experience desirable but not required). Exceptional NQs will also be considered
  • Someone who takes ownership of their work and cares about getting it right for clients, with brilliant attention to detail alongside a commercial and pragmatic approach
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain complexity simply
  • No client following necessary, but welcome

What we offer

  • Real flexibility
  • Hybrid working as standard (office in the City of London/Canary Wharf). We trust you to manage your time. No face-time culture
  • Depending on your seniority, entirely remote working is possible
  • Full time or part time – genuine choice with no impact on career progression
  • Growth opportunity
  • Entrepreneurial environment, autonomy if you want it
  • A genuine path to seniority and, for the right person, partnership in time (if desired)
  • Direct client access: Your work matters from day one - no layers of bureaucracy between you and the people you help
  • Remuneration: Salary £55k-£75k FTE, depending on PQE. Fee income bonus of up to 40% salary
  • Benefits negotiable

Interested? Let's talk. We keep our hiring process straightforward and respectful of your time. Send us your CV and a short covering letter by email explaining why this role appeals to you and how your experience suits it. Deadline for applications 1 July 2026, interviews planned for w/c 6 July 2026.
