We are currently seeking an experienced and talented IT Support Technician to join our high performing team.
Role Purpose:
- 1st Line IT Support
As well as getting hands-on exposure to a number of new and ongoing upgrade projects, you will facilitate the effective operation and daily support of the company network, systems and processes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all hardware, software and associated peripherals/devices across 10 sites in N. Ireland/Ireland.
- Install, configure and maintain operating systems to agreed standards.
- Perform upgrades, new installations and carry out routine procedures on site infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot system, server and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware and software faults.
- Helpdesk administration and escalation, backup, antivirus, Office365 and IT asset management administration.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- 3rd level education and a background within a similar IT Support environment.
- Office 365 Desktop Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience of Office365 administration including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience of Windows Server including Active Directory, Group Policy and HyperV.
- Good communication required with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Full Driver’s license.
