The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced and client‑focused Structural Engineer to join our structures group. You will be a key member of our local structural disciplinary service, helping to extend our service across the UK and leading the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious construction projects across a variety of sectors. You will collaborate with global structures teams, drive business development with new and existing client relationships in the local and UK market, and lead delivery of local and international structural engineering projects. This role offers managerial and leadership responsibility for the development of our local structural engineering team, as well as wider general regional structural disciplinary responsibilities. The role is best suited to technically‑oriented structural engineers as well as ambitious team leaders who have experience in operational and client‑focusing aspects.
Qualifications & Skills
- A chartered civil/structural engineer (CEng or equivalent) with a degree in structural or civil engineering.
- Significant practical design experience in structural engineering within a multi‑disciplinary international consultancy environment.
- Proven skills in advanced structural analysis and essential structural design software.
- Strong experience leading projects and developing client relationships.
- Awareness/knowledge of advanced computational design and visual programming approaches and tools for structural engineering, such as Grasshopper, is highly desirable.
