The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, driven and client focused Structural Associate to join our team at ourNewcastleoffice to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of pioneering structural solutions to some of the most prestigious and technically challenging structural design projects inthe regionand internationally. We would also be interested to hear from more recently chartered principle engineers looking for a place to grow and develop with support to create their own future as a leader in the industry.
Working across a variety of sectors and typologies including education (schools, colleges and universities), residential (high rise), commercial offices, complex industrial projects and data centre facilities. You will lead a team of expert engineers and technicians, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects both locally and globally. You will develop new and nurture existing client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure that our very high levels of repeat business continue, and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.
The Skills
Ahighly experienced chartered engineer with established project management skills, and accredited with a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering, you have developed a significant portfolio of relevant technical and leadership experience in a consultancy environment. In your most recent position you will have established your excellent reputation as a commercially aware leader in structural design, and have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large scale projects and teams to meet and exceed client expectations. Crucially, you possess a passion for creative, innovative and low carbon design.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
