The Role You’ll Play
We are seeking talented, creative and environmentally focused Crime and Security Science students with a keen interest in security advisory and design to join our team in London for a Summer Placement in 2026. You will work closely with our team of security consultants and engineers, gaining exposure to reducing risk of real-time threats and enhancing security through design in a range of challenging jobs, across a variety of real projects. Under the guidance of our team of expert consultants this role will provide you with opportunities to be part of our team and assist with a variety of security assessments, as well as physical and electronic security design across the RIBA working stages. If working on large scale and high-end projects across multiple sectors including critical systems, Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), education, healthcare and workplace appeals then join us!
The Skills You’ll Bring
You will have a passion for holistic security design to assist in risk reduction and crime prevention as well as excellent communication skills to assist in creating industry leading built environments. Your skills will include:
- Working towards a degree in BSc Crime and Security Science.
- Have appropriate understanding of crime prevention through environmental design and situational crime prevention.
- Have a dedication towards problem solving and seeks getting involved in commercial multidisciplinary projects where security mitigates risks without compromising business operations.
- Have a passion for sustainability and improving the built environment.
- Be interested in digital engineering (AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit).
- No prior experience is required.
