The Cundall Business Development and Marketing team plays a critical role across the global business. The team works across 29 offices, 22 services, and 17 sectors to ensure Cundall continues to be recognised as a world-leading expert in innovative and sustainable design engineering. We require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Marketing and Business Development Executive to join our marketing team in the Newcastle office on a full-time permanent basis.
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving the marketing and business development support to the business, with a particular focus on the Newcastle market. The role requires a self-driven, hands-on person that can work independently and make full use of the resources in the Newcastle team and the global marketing team. This will be an experienced Marketing and Business Development Executive who is organised and can deliver marketing outputs to deadlines.
Examples of tasks include:
- Working with our Head of Marketing to drive key initiatives in line with the Marketing strategy.
- Working closely with the Partners and Associates in Newcastle to raise the profile of the business in the local and global market.
- Creating content for our website.
- Tracking and entering awards.
- Identifying speaking slots for industry events.
- Planning and running global initiatives.
- Organising, managing, and hosting events.

The Skills
Experience in a marketing and/or business development role, proven experience in professional services and/or a consultancy environment, and experience of working with marketing databases are essential. You have demonstrated your ability to think and work strategically and to co-ordinate and supervise the activities of others to achieve objectives. Crucially, you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders in an assertive but diplomatic manner. A qualification in marketing and/or experience in the built environment sector would be advantageous.
