Our Critical Systems teams have accomplished amazing projects like an energy-efficient data centre for Facebook. As a Summer Placement, you could play a key part in our next big project.
The Role
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering student to join our London team for a Summer Placement, starting in 2026. It is an excellent opportunity for you to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the UK and worldwide. Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers, this role will provide you with opportunities to assist our design team with detailed electrical critical system design and analysis; defining and translating clients' needs into designs for buildings, facilities and services, all with sustainability at the forefront of the design.
Working closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice, you will provide specialist consultancy input on projects across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, workplace, retail, and critical systems (data centres).
The Skills
- On track to achieve a 2:1 or above
- Working towards a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Preferably undertaking your penultimate year of study
- Have a passion for improving the built environment
- Be interested in design and sustainable design principles
