As a Galley Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Gallery and back of house area is cleaned and always sanitised to the highest standards, identifying key areas of risk and providing remedial action where necessary. You will lead and manage the Back of House team to ensure the smooth operation of the plate houses and galley pot wash, providing full support to the food service outlets along with food production areas. You will ensure that all teams comply with all company public health, hygiene and safety policies and procedures, IPM (Integrated Pest Management), HESS, FSP and ILO. You will also be responsible for managing the Galley & Back of House Defect Reporting System effectively.
To join Cunard in this fantastic role you will need the following experience:
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning requirements and sanitation of galley areas required
- COSHH Certificate
- Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering desirable
- In-depth knowledge of USPH (United States Public Health) Policy
- Competent IT Skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
