Are you an experienced entertainment host who can DJ a great party or function? Whether you’ve been the life of the dancefloor at weddings, corporate events, or luxury holiday resorts — we’re looking for confident, engaging personalities who know how to get a crowd going and keep the energy high.

As a Senior Entertainment Host – DJ, you’ll be at the heart of our onboard entertainment, hosting a variety of fun and inclusive events such as deck games, bingo, quizzes, karaoke, and game shows. Each evening, you’ll take to the decks in different venues across the ship, creating memorable nights for our guests with a mix of classic hits and feel-good favourites — not club-style sets or niche genres.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a DJ at weddings, holiday resorts, cruise ships, or luxury hotels. This role is not suitable for those with a nightclub-focused background
  • A broad music knowledge from the 1960s to today — with the ability to read the room and adapt
  • Experience working in a team and delivering exceptional guest service
  • Previous experience in hosting quizzes, bingo, or sports events is beneficial but not essential — comprehensive training will be provided

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Hosting music events that get guests dancing and singing along — requests welcome!
  • Be the friendly face guests turn to for info, delivering helpful and professional responses
  • Be a vibrant presence at key events like Sail Away parties and corporate socials — connect with guests, spark conversations, and help create unforgettable moments

Why Join Cunard?

  • Flights paid for, from the main airport in your home country to your ship
  • Company role training and additional training for ‘new to sea’
  • Crew gym, fitness classes and sports courts
  • Free crew bikes to explore amazing destinations
  • Free WhatsApp text messages, plus flexible paid internet packages
  • Lifelong friendships
  • Discounted crew shore experiences
  • Meals and free beverage stations
  • Inclusive culture so everyone feels valued and that they belong
  • Medical services on board

During the recruitment and on boarding process we may not be able to offer an exact start date, but as soon as we can, we will let you know and make sure you have plenty of notice and support to get ready for your adventure with us.

We are working hard to build a flexible and inclusive culture. As part of our culture difference is valued and our people can be themselves. We welcome applications from everyone because inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marriage & civil partnership and pregnancy & maternity.

At Cunard, we collaborate with a variety of reputable agencies who will never ask you to pay a hiring fee or any other associated monies in order to submit an application to us. All applications are reviewed against the same criteria and using an agency will not increase your chances of being successful.
