Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for an experienced Cost Analyst.
You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting to the Cost Reduction Director, financial data that will influence process improvement and cost reduction activities.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
- Perform and manage Cost Analysis and Optimization projects.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities by analyzing BOM, current suppliers and competitor products and present findings to the business leadership team.
- Create and maintain cost reduction plan and reporting for EPBU utilizing a multi-year project roadmap covering new product development and current product.
- Utilize cost reduction tools within EPBU.
- Collaborate with sourcing, engineering and product teams to develop a cost reduction plan for current product and ensure execution of the plan.
- Assess and help optimize an integration plan across a global business the relevant systems, sourcing strategies and cost plans.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical experience in cost control, reporting, supply chain processes, and BOM.
- Experience with cost analysis tools and software.
- Previous skills and experience in working in a fast paced engineering or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Required Education, Licenses or Certification
- College, university or equivalent degree in a related subject matter.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary between £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
