Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our team, specialising in Supply Chain Planning for Cummins Generator Technologies in Peterborough, United Kingdom.

This hybrid role requires attendance at the Peterborough office two days per week, increasing to three days from January 2026.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Align global manufacturing capacity with customer demand to ensure balanced, efficient production planning.
  • Develop and present optimal multi-site supply scenarios that reduce cost and improve service levels.
  • Lead capacity planning discussions and build business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Guide senior stakeholders through complex supply chain changes with clarity and confidence.
  • Execute and enhance the phase-in/out process, focusing on P80/S9 and LV/HV to reduce E&O risk.
  • Drive global supply chain improvement projects and ensure alignment with key performance targets.
  • Influence global planning teams to adopt consistent practices and support cross-functional goals.
  • Support the design and rollout of Oracle ERP to meet evolving customer and operational needs.

  • Strong analytical and operational skills, with advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Significant relevant experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a global manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), stakeholder management, and cross-functional project leadership is highly desirable.
  • Additional certifications in supply chain, ERP systems, or Six Sigma are advantageous.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
