We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Network Student to join our team specializing in systems and information technology for our Corporate/Cummins Business Services Unit in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027. The expectation will be for the successful candidate to be onsite at least 3 days per week to get the best experience.
n this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Working with the Europe Network Support Team based in our Cummins Darlington office.

Performing Network Admin functions
-
Executing Switch and WIFI inventory management.

Completing LAN configuration compliance management.
-
Ensuring the completion of Project Engineering & documentation.

Working on the Ekahau WIFI survey.

Ensuring Problem Ticket resolution.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Studying an IT related degree with focus on Networks.

A willingness to learn and receptive to feedback

Some knowledge of IT Network functions

Experience working in a team.
