We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager – Marine to join our team specializing in Sales for our Marine Department in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in high-potential markets to drive growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across different levels
- Understand customer needs and offer tailored Cummins solutions (standard and customized)
- Effectively position Cummins products against competitors to win business
- Negotiate deals in line with company guidelines while achieving revenue and profit targets
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, supply chain, finance) to meet customer requirements
- Track sales performance through CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Support and develop the team by mentoring, coaching, and identifying opportunities for improvement

Education/ Experience:
- Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent in Norwegian as a primary or second language is preferred
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or customer/order lifecycle management
- Experience in the marine market is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems and SAP or other order management tools is an advantage
