We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join our team specializing in Finance for our Accelera business unit in Milton Keynes. During your apprenticeship with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

Summary of the course:

The Finance Apprentice role is a developmental position within the finance team. During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study at Milton Keynes college. The working hours are 37.5hrs per week with flexibility to suit business needs. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain an AAT qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing monthly direct debit invoices
  • Liaising with colleagues on invoice processing
  • Preparing journal entries
  • Posting journal entries
  • Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reviewing Goods received not invoiced and chasing to close out open Purchase orders

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Obtained equivalent of GCSEs in Math’s and English Language and literature grade 5/B or above including a 4/C or above in all other subjects taken.
  • Must have been a UK resident/citizen for 3 years or above.
  • Good communication and high attention to detail
  • Proactive and action oriented
  • Reliable and organized to manage own workload
