We are looking for an enthusiastic Information Technology Development Program Associate to join our team in September 2026, specializing in Systems/Information Technology within our Cummins business segment. This role will be based in Daventry.
Our IT Development Program is a 2-year graduate program designed to accelerate your growth and set you up for long-term success in a dynamic, global environment. From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects that make a tangible impact across the business. Through structured rotations every six months, you’ll explore different areas of IT while building a well-rounded technical and commercial skillset. You’ll be supported with dedicated mentoring, professional development opportunities, and access to a global network of experts—giving you the tools and exposure you need to become an industry expert and power your potential.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for software solutions, working closely with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and vendors.
- Support the analysis and evaluation of application functionality, identifying opportunities to improve business processes and increase utilisation of standard features.
- Develop knowledge of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems and applications.
- Collaborate with vendors to enhance application performance and resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively, building strong relationships and confidently presenting to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related technical field.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with a passion for technology.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
- Exposure to IT development tools, AI tools or equivalent.
- A flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to learn, as you will rotate across teams.
