We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Placement Student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain for our Business Unit in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.
We are seeking a motivated placement student to join our team and support the delivery of a high-profile project. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders within the business, plenty of cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful Supply Chain initiative.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Program Management Support - Work closely with Program Leader to drive progress across the team.
- Team Engagement - Liaise with Core Team Functional Leaders to track updates, highlight progress and identify issues or risks to delivery of the project.
- KPI & Reporting - Monitor Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
- Stakeholder communication - Assist in creating high quality presentations - ensuring clarity & impact.
- Analytics - Use common processes tools, and information systems to enable supply chain analysis. Provide analytical support to one or more functional areas.
- Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Optimize work processes - Seeking the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field.
- Analytical thinking - Ability to interpret data, provide insights and present information in a clear, concise and visually appealing way.
- Teamwork, Collaboration and Problem Solving.
- Interest in End-to-End supply chains - A real drive to understand how supply chains operate and the value this drives to the business.
- Understanding of Project Management Principles - either through university projects or extracurricular activities.
