We are looking for an enthusiastic General Ledger Placement Student to join our team specializing in Finance for our Power Systems Business Segment in UK, Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 29th June, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Working with various stakeholders and support multiple Power Systems markets, create networks and work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Supporting the team during the month end by preparing and uploading journals.
- Raising intercompany transactions.
- Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards, reconcile and solve any issues relating to month end sales.
- Prepare transaction register summary reports as well as prepare and distribute FX rates.
- Reconcile bank transactions, prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Updating price requests and maintain customer database, support annual audit and other financial professionals in their duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in preferably Finance and Accounting.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Communications skills.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data.
