Placement Student - AI, Digital & Zero Fuel Burn Testing Engineer
We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Student Engineer focusing on AI, Digital, and Zero Fuel Burn Testing to join our team specialising in Industrial Markets Engineering for our Power Systems Business segment in Daventry, United Kingdom.
This year-long industrial placement offers an opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience, working at the intersection of advanced digital technologies and sustainable internal combustion engine system development. The successful candidate will contribute to projects that enhance engineering efficiency through AI/Digital tools and accelerate mechanical validation of components using innovative rig testing methods to replicate engine running conditions without burning fuel in a engine test cell.
This role will give you an opportunity to work on different sub-systems of the engine and you will interact with a wide range of global and local cross functional groups and departments to co-ordinate project delivery.
During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.
