We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a three-rotational shift pattern, ensuring you have variety and balance in your working schedule.
Shift Patterns:
- Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 07.00am – 3.00pm
- Mid Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3.00pm – 11.00pm and Friday 10.30pm finish
- Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11.00pm – 07.00am

What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Technician, your role will be pivotal to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You'll:
- Safely undertake a full range of maintenance duties within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Work predominantly in the Assembly, Test and Trim areas ensuring key equipment is returned to production in a timely manner.
- Fault find and repair plant and machinery including automated lines, nut runners, test cells.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently after job completion.
- Complete PPMs to schedule in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to events.
- Review equipment to pre-empt and prevent equipment failure.
- Raise requisitions for equipment spares in line with company cost, quality and delivery requirements and submit to supervisor for approval.
- Respond within skill boundaries for emergency procedure events.
- Liaise closely with Operation's Supervisors on priorities and initiate analysis of data to support corrective engineering work.
- Support team operation and assist/train others as appropriate.
- Follow safe systems of work to complete tasks including working in confined space/at heights, LOTO where necessary.
About You: To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Recognised apprenticeship (Time served electrician or mechanical fitter).
- Experience in PPM techniques.
- Experience of automated lines (test cells preferable, Siemens S7 PLC knowledge an advantage).
- Experience in working within Safe systems of work (LOTO, Working at height, Confined spaces).
- Computer literate (Maximo, Lotus Notes, Oracle).
- Able to follow a systematic problem solving process.
- Robotics experience preferred.
