We are looking for talented Production Associates to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Assembly in Cummins in UK, Cwmbran

Working 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of:

  • Mornings: Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.00pm & Friday 6.00am to 1.30pm
  • Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm โ€“ 10.00pm & Friday 1.30pm โ€“ 9.30pm
  • Nights: Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am & Friday 9.30pm to 4.30am

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Run and Set Assembly Lines, Including Change Overs, use of HMIโ€™s/Robot Pendants
  • Provide training to new operators including all relevant documentation
  • Assemble, Test and View components
  • Complete and Record necessary Quality Control Checks at required frequencies
  • Adjust various Assembly and testing equipment
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks and elementary routine preventative maintenance
  • Drive line to maximise outputs
  • Carry out routine rework and scrap procedures
  • Ensure continuous improvement activities take place
  • Ensure good housekeeping (5S) and safe working practice in the area
  • Undertake Training as required

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Experience working with automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCโ€™S), with the ability to troubleshoot automated equipment.
