Production Associate in Cwmbran

We are looking for talented Production Associates to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Assembly in Cummins in UK, Cwmbran

Working 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of:

• Mornings: Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.00pm & Friday 6.00am to 1.30pm
• Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm – 10.00pm & Friday 1.30pm – 9.30pm
• Nights: Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am & Friday 9.30pm to 4.30am

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Run and Set Assembly Lines, Including Change Overs, use of HMI’s/Robot Pendants
• Provide training to new operators including all relevant documentation
• Assemble, Test and View components
• Complete and Record necessary Quality Control Checks at required frequencies
• Adjust various Assembly and testing equipment
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and elementary routine preventative maintenance
• Drive line to maximise outputs
• Carry out routine rework and scrap procedures
• Ensure continuous improvement activities take place
• Ensure good housekeeping (5S) and safe working practice in the area
• Undertake Training as required

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Experience working with automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLC’S), with the ability to troubleshoot automated equipment.
