Our client is a growing and successful business based in Blackburn, supplying commercial equipment to customers across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Marketing Executive to join their expanding marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll play an important role in delivering engaging marketing activity across digital and offline channels.

From social media and website content to product launches, campaigns and promotional activity, you’ll help bring the company’s products and brand to life.

The Role

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing engaging content across social media channels including Linked In, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Developing website, blog and digital content to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions and seasonal activity.
  • Working alongside the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to create high-quality marketing campaigns and content.
  • Developing creative marketing ideas that support wider business and sales objectives.
  • Creating, updating and maintaining marketing materials in line with brand guidelines.
  • Managing online product listings, ensuring descriptions, specifications and downloadable content are accurate, engaging and commercially focused.
  • Developing strong product knowledge and translating technical information into clear, customer-friendly marketing content.
  • Assisting with email marketing, digital promotions and customer communications.
  • Monitoring marketing activity and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and performance.
  • Supporting with marketing administration, reporting and day-to-day campaign management.
  • Providing professional support with telephone enquiries when required.
  • Getting involved in additional marketing projects and activities to support the wider business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about marketing and keen to develop their career. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a marketing role or a relevant marketing qualification.
  • Strong written communication skills and a good eye for detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience using website or content management systems such as Magento or Word Press would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • A genuine interest in marketing, brands and creating content that delivers results.
