We're working with a successful and growing Lancashire-based business that supplies specialist equipment to customers across the UK. As part of continued growth, they're looking to appoint an Internal Sales Executive to join their friendly sales team at their Blackburn headquarters.
This is a varied role where you'll combine customer service, account development and proactive sales, working closely with Key Account Managers to identify opportunities, strengthen existing relationships and generate new business.
The RoleAs Internal Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for proactively engaging with existing, prospective and new customers by telephone and email, identifying opportunities and helping to drive sales.
You'll also: Proactively contact existing, prospective and new customers to promote products and servicesIdentify, develop and progress sales opportunities against individual and company targetsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat businessReactivate dormant accounts and identify opportunities for account growthQualify sales enquiries and arrange appointments for Key Account ManagersAnalyse customer sales data and identify fluctuations, trends and opportunitiesMaintain accurate customer records and activity on the CRM systemWork closely with Marketing to support new product launches, campaigns and special offersHandle incoming sales enquiries and provide a professional, responsive servicePrepare quotations, check stock availability and process and progress customer ordersAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is confident, proactive and commercially driven, with a genuine desire to build relationships and generate sales.
You'll also bring: Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA confident and professional telephone mannerGood negotiation and influencing abilitiesExcellent organisation and attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressureStrong administration and IT skillsA commercial mindset and the ability to spot opportunities within existing accountsExperience of Microsoft Navision would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
