We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager – Marine to join our team specializing in Sales for our Marine Department in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in high-potential markets to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across different levels.
  • Understand customer needs and offer tailored Cummins solutions (standard and customized).
  • Effectively position Cummins products against competitors to win business.
  • Negotiate deals in line with company guidelines while achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, supply chain, finance) to meet customer requirements.
  • Track sales performance through CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Support and develop the team by mentoring, coaching, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Experience in the marine market is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and SAP or other order management tools is an advantage.
