We are looking for several talented Materials Operators to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Materials department in Daventry, UK. This is a fixed-term contract up to 24 months, with the potential for a permanent contract.

Working hours: 37.5hrs per week Monday - Friday, with regular weekend overtime available, subject to business needs. You will need to be fully flexible to work across the following shift patterns: Days 6:45am - 2:45pm/ Afternoons 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Accountability: Hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and applications, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Attention to Detail: Follow procedures meticulously to ensure quality and accuracy, quickly identify and address quality issues, and minimize downtime.

Although not required as training will be provided, candidates with experience operating any PIV help to contribute to a safe, more efficient and productive workplace.

  • Time Keeping: Delivering material in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and keeping the production line running smoothly.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively within the Materials team and across departments. Communicate clearly about processes, issues, and safety concerns.
  • PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) Experience.
