We are looking for several Flexible Manufacturing Workers to join our team specialising in Manufacturing for our Components Business in Huddersfield. This is a 6-month fixed term contract working 35 hours per week. Working the following rotational shifts:
- Days: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 3.00pm
- Middles: Monday – Friday 3.00pm – 10.15pm
- Nights: Monday – Thursday 10.15pm – 7.30am
Salary is £29,470.00 plus shift allowance. No previous manufacturing experience is required, full training will be provided. All you must bring is an open mind and willingness to learn. Good communication and collaboration skills will help you to succeed.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Be able to support the middle shift working hours.
- Prepared to be flexible within the team, shift and other assembly areas.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
- Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Successful applicants will be invited to an assessment day where you can tour the work area and understand more about the role. Please note that training will be during the day shift. Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/On-site.
