We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Representative to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Customer Service Department in Huddersfield, UK. This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as the dedicated single point of contact for assigned accounts, strengthening customer trust in Cummins through consistent, reliable communication and ownership of the full order life cycle.
- Ensure on-time and accurate order processing—from customer set-up to delivery—minimizing delays, reducing errors, and improving overall customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and resolve order exceptions, logistics challenges, and documentation gaps to prevent disruptions and protect agreed service levels.
- Drive seamless cross-functional collaboration between distribution centers, manufacturing plants, quality teams, and customer support to ensure aligned execution.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries through detailed research and system expertise, delivering timely responses that meet Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain precise and compliant export and shipping documentation, reducing regulatory risk and ensuring smooth international transactions.
- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a quality liaison by submitting and tracking non-conformance claims, ensuring customer concerns are addressed and corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Education/Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Intermediate-level experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain operations, with demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end order life cycle and deliver consistent, results-driven customer support.
