We are looking for an enthusiastic Information Technology Development Program Associate to join our team in September 2026, specializing in Systems/Information Technology within our Cummins business segment. This role will be based in Daventry.
Our IT Development Program is a 2-year graduate program designed to accelerate your growth and set you up for long-term success in a dynamic, global environment. From day one, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working on real projects that make a tangible impact across the business. Through structured rotations every six months, you’ll explore different areas of IT while building a well‑rounded technical and commercial skillset. You’ll be supported with dedicated mentoring, professional development opportunities, and access to a global network of experts—giving you the tools and exposure you need to become an industry expert and power your potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for software solutions, working closely with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and vendors.
- Support the analysis and evaluation of application functionality, identifying opportunities to improve business processes and increase utilisation of standard features.
- Develop knowledge of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems and applications.
- Collaborate with vendors to enhance application performance and resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively, building strong relationships and confidently presenting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related technical field.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with a passion for technology.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
- Exposure to IT development tools, AI tools or equivalent.
- A flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to learn, as you will rotate across teams.
