We are looking for 10 Flexible Manufacturing Workers for a 6-month fixed term contract to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business in Huddersfield. This is a 6-month fixed term contract working 35 hours per week.
Working on the following shift: Middle shift, Monday – Friday 3pm – 10.15pm. Please note that training is likely to be given on the day shift until the candidate is trained and able to work the middle shift outlined above. Day shift, Monday – Friday 7.30am – 3pm.
No previous manufacturing experience is required, full training will be provided. All you must bring is an open mind and willingness to learn. Good communication and collaboration skills will help you to succeed.
Responsibilities:- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
- Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
- Be able to support the middle shift working hours.
- Prepared to be flexible within the team, shift and other assembly areas.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
