We are looking for several Flexible Manufacturing Workers Warehouse for a 6-month fixed term contract to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Components Business in Huddersfield. Salary for this role is £28,200 plus 30% shift premium for working the night shift. This is a fixed-term contract working 35 hours per week. Working between the following 2 shifts:
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Nights: Monday - Thursday
No previous experience is required; full training will be provided. All you must bring is an open mind and willingness to learn. Good communication and collaboration skills will help you to succeed.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Work well within a team
- Be able to support shift working
- Ability to prioritise work
- Basic understanding of computer packages
- Good communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
100% On-Site Yes. Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/On-site.
