We are looking for a talented Regional Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team specializing in System & Information Technology who will be based on our Darlington site, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensure Reliable IT Service Delivery: By overseeing software and infrastructure operations, you'll guarantee consistent, high-quality IT services that support business continuity and growth.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Through effective planning, organizing, and staffing, you'll maximize the use of available resources to achieve organizational goals efficiently.
  • Drive Service Performance and Standards: Implementing and monitoring SLAs, scorecards, and customer satisfaction metrics will help maintain high service standards across regions.
  • Champion Process Improvement: By promoting Six Sigma and ITIL best practices, you'll reduce costs, streamline workflows, and enhance service quality.
  • Strengthen Customer and Supplier Relationships: Acting as a key contact for service-related inquiries, you'll build trust and foster collaboration between IT, business units, and external partners.
  • Enable Strategic Decision-Making: Your participation in budgeting and forecasting will ensure IT services align with financial goals and future business needs.
  • Enhance Knowledge Management: Maintaining accurate service documentation and procedures will improve operational efficiency and support continuous learning within the team.
  • Identify and Implement Service Improvements: By proactively spotting opportunities for enhancement and driving change requests, you'll keep IT services evolving to meet business demands.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Build and maintain trusted relationships with Site/BU IT Leaders, Manufacturing, Technical, and Logistics leaders to understand priorities and influence IT engagement processes.
  • Deep Knowledge of Enterprise IT Platforms and Processes: Be well-versed in project planning, architecture, security, and compliance frameworks to guide business teams in correctly engaging IT services.
  • Operational Leadership and Regional Alignment: Coordinate IT service delivery across multiple mission-critical sites, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and global platform initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving Ability: Act as a subject matter expert for manufacturing IT issues, collaborating with CMES, Cybersecurity, and Ops teams to resolve incidents and provide technical guidance across regions.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Awareness: Understand country-specific employment laws, import/export compliance, and purchasing rules for MDaaS technologies to ensure legal and operational adherence.
  • Financial and Vendor Management Skills: Support regional IT financial planning (forecasting, expense management) and leverage vendor management frameworks to optimize supplier performance and control costs.

Qualifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • Significant IT experience required including supervisory experience. 4-6 years of relevant experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Driving licence required.
  • 100% On-Site.
