Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager Data Centre to join our team in Ramsgate, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Distribution Business Segment, you will identify new opportunities and generate further business relationships across the Data Centre market in Europe.
Job Responsibility:
Join us during an exciting growth phase and play a crucial role in ensuring the best value for our customers and driving opportunities for Cummins. In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering design, project management and global business development teams to determine the best value Cummins can offer to suit the requirements of the Data Center customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, complying with relevant company and country guidelines and legislations.
- Support the overall sales strategy through good communication and coordination across the sales organization.
- Mentor to support the development of less experienced sales and account team staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a business development or sales role with commercial acumen.
- Technical background with knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Adaptable approach with outstanding communication and teamwork skills, capable of working on complex projects.
- Previous experience within the Data Centre sector is beneficial.
