This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure our suppliers continue to provide the best quality and value
- Liaising with a range of suppliers across the globe
- Invite new suppliers to bid and review the bid process
- Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues
- Process engineering releases to take the appropriate purchasing actions
- Support Cummins in ensuring we stay competitive
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in preferably Engineering/Business related although not limited to these subjects
- IT Skills. Customer-facing & customer support experience would be a plus
- Communication skills, Positive attitude, strong personal motivation
- Team player, able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with project’s needs
