We are looking for an enthusiastic Health, Safety, and Environment Placement Student to join our team specializing in Environment for our Engine Business Segment in UK, Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential. This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026. This role will be onsite, so you must be able to travel to the location.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Running projects that add real impact and value.
- Supporting the HSE team with project work and COSHH assessments.
- Conducting research and investigation for projects in specific areas of Health, Safety and environment.
- Managing the completion of project reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis with the Regional Health, Safety and Environment leaders.
- Preparing and publishing the monthly Health, Safety and Environment reports.
- Providing support to the team with internal auditing.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Working towards a degree in Health & Safety / Environmental or STEM.
- Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft packages and ideally experience using Power BI.
- Ability to collate data, solve problems and think innovatively.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
