We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Graduate to join our Commercial team within our Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) organisation based in Peterborough, UK. This role is a 2-year rotation to give you a breadth of experience within the Sales and Business Development functions.
During your time with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Product Marketing: Contribute to business case development, competitive analysis, and go-to-market planning to support both existing and new product introductions.
- Sales Support: Assist the commercial team with quotations, including product selection and pricing for our Stamford and AvK brands.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives in strategic market segments.
- Commercial Projects: Lead or support initiatives aimed at improving sales processes, pricing tools, and overall commercial efficiency.
- Sales Enablement: Promote CRM adoption by enhancing its usability and providing support to the global sales team to increase productivity.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Qualification: College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Analytical skills: Proficient in Excel and similar tools for data analysis and drawing actionable insights. Comfortable using corporate systems to access and process commercial and technical information
- Project Management Skills - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective Communication - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to tailor messaging for various audiences and levels within an organization.
