Description
We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our DTO Production Development Department in Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety and Environmental Responsibility: Actively identify and correct hazards, use PPE, and engage in HSE training to create a safer workplace and reduce environmental impact.
- Maintain High Product Quality: Follow quality procedures like SPC and poka-yoke, perform inspections, and manage non-conforming materials to support product excellence.
- Achieve Reliable Production Output: Operate manual and automated equipment efficiently, meeting cycle times for consistent product delivery.
- Support Equipment Reliability: Perform routine maintenance and collaborate with skilled trades to minimize downtime.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and process efficiency.
- Strengthen Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support staff for smooth operations.
- Manage ETO and Logistics: Handle ETO stock, coordinate parts delivery, and prepare AFS shipments for timely material availability.
- Contribute to Procurement and Supplier Coordination: Obtain quotes, place orders via Ariba, and liaise with suppliers to support cost-effective procurement.
