Flexible Manufacturing Workers – Warehouse for a 6-month fixed term contract to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Components Business in Huddersfield. Salary for this role is £28,200 plus 30% shift premium for working the night shift. This is a fixed-term contract working 35 hours per week. Working between the following two shifts:
- Days: Monday – Friday 7.00am – 3.30pm
- Nights: Monday – Thursday 10.15pm – 7.30am
No previous experience is required; full training will be provided. All you must bring is an open mind and willingness to learn. Good communication and collaboration skills will help you to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
