We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our team in Daventry, United Kingdom.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the order management team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Process customer orders within the order management system, meeting required deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Maintaining clear lines of communication with customers from order placement to shipment.
- Support data entry tasks such as new customer set‑ups, credit and debit administration, and order updates.
- Prepare and distribute standard internal reports to support operational visibility and decision‑making.
- Maintain and cleanse data within the order management system, ensuring accuracy across customer details, pricing, order holds, and other key fields.
- Undertake “face‑to‑face” customer visits and product witness testing at the Daventry plant.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to the Supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- General understanding of order entry processes, customer support functions, and back‑office operations.
- Strong customer service experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MRP systems, with experience in Oracle R12 considered a strong advantage.
- Good standard of English and numeracy, with an additional language beneficial.
Education/Experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is highly advantageous.
- Technical understanding of generator set systems would be beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with the full order life cycle and associated systems will support success in this role.
