We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environmental Technician to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Engineering Business in Daventry, United Kingdom.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
- Support the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) plans by applying corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily operations.
- Promote a strong HSE culture by identifying hazards, encouraging safe behaviors, and reinforcing health, safety, environmental, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in reporting work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards, ensuring timely escalation and accurate documentation.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations to help determine root causes and support effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct and support HSE inspections and audits, helping identify opportunities for improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Gather and maintain HSE data to support trend analysis, performance monitoring, and achievement of local objectives and targets.
- Communicate HSE expectations clearly to employees to build awareness, understanding, and engagement across the site.
- Support environmental management activities and basic administrative tasks, ensuring records are maintained in line with data protection and retention requirements.
- Support the effective operation and continual improvement of HSE management systems through inspections, audits, document control, performance monitoring, and action follow-up.

Education/ Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable regulations.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental principles gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Experience following work processes, maintaining accurate records, and using HSE systems, tools, or templates as directed.
