Project Manager – Residential/Mixed‑Use Projects (Graduate to Project Manager Level)
Cumming Group seeks Project Managers with experience on future residential or mixed‑use projects. The role supports project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support the full range of Project Management Process and deliver day‑to‑day project tasks with minimal supervision.
- Assist in knowledge capture, sharing, and innovation.
- Contribute to tender preparation, contractor selection and contract documentation.
- Help manage risk and value, and administer contracts (including monthly reporting, project meetings and other administration tasks).
- Provide accurate and timely deliverables to a high quality standard.
- Ensure service delivery follows company policies, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and client corporate governance where applicable.
- Achieve objectives set in the annual performance review and demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
- Support development and management of project programmes and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
- Knowledge & Skills Required
- Developing knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
- Minimal experience and basic understanding of industry‑standard contract forms, typically JCT and NEC.
- Limited technical project management skills, with foundational knowledge of PM processes such as Risk, Opportunities and Issues, and Change Control.
- Experience supporting delivery of multiple projects and understanding of the entire project lifecycle.
- Good oral, written and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with clients and staff, supporting stakeholder management.
- High degree of integrity.
- Preferred Education and Experience
- Industry‑specific real estate or hospitality construction associate status with APM or RICS.
- PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
- Basic understanding of leadership techniques.
- 2+ years’ relevant experience.
