Cost Intelligence Manager

As an Cost Intelligence Manager, you\’ll play a key role in providing cost consultancy and project support across all stages of construction projects from concept design through to completion. You\’ll analyse and manage cost data, produce cost plans and reports, monitor industry trends, and deliver accurate estimates to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmark reports.
- Analyse, validate, and manage cost data and cost intelligence databases.
- Support the development of costing tools and dashboards.
- Monitor industry and economic cost trends.
- Contribute to innovation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with company and client governance procedures.
About You
- Degree qualified in Construction, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar.
- RICS or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
- Around 3+ years of post-qualification experience in cost or project management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using MS Office (especially Excel) and cost estimating systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
