Senior Planner – Infrastructure

The Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join our team, based out of any of our UK offices (ideally South / South West). You’ll play a key role in delivering planning and project support across all stages of construction projects — from concept design through to completion. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll help ensure programmes are developed, managed, and delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day planning for major projects, working independently and as part of a team
- Support tendering, contractor/consultant selection, and contract documentation
- Manage planning and value management processes, including workshops
- Oversee contract administration, reporting, and chairing project meetings
- Develop project programmes, monitor milestones, and evaluate risks/opportunities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration
- Deliver work outputs accurately, on time, and in line with company and client standards
- Mentor junior team members and support their development
About You:
- Strong background in project planning within construction or infrastructure
- Confident in using project management tools, critical path analysis, and reporting
- Skilled in stakeholder communication and relationship building
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
