Job Description
Senior Cost Manager – Infrastructure
Cumming Group is an international project and cost management consultancy delivering innovative solutions in construction, real estate, and infrastructure. The Role
You’ll deliver estimates, cost plans, procurement advice, and post-contract administration, working independently or leading a team depending on project size. This is a client-facing role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver cost management services across all project stages
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, reports, and valuations
- Manage contracts, tenders, and procurement processes
- Oversee project budgets, risks, and value management
- Lead and mentor junior team members
- Build strong client relationships and support business development
About You:
- Degree in construction, cost management, engineering, or similar (RICS accredited preferred)
- MRICS (or equivalent) qualification desirable
- 5+ years’ experience, ideally in the infrastructure sector
- Strong technical knowledge of contracts (JCT, NEC) and cost management processes
- Proven ability to lead projects and teams in a client-facing role
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
