We take pride in delivering an excellent service. Cumming Group as seeking to recruit a Financial Auditor to join our team in Manchester. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Auditor with a strong understanding of risk-based internal audit methodologies and core financial management principles. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or an audit professional with a background in internal or external audit within business, blue-chip organisations, or professional services firms. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal financial audits to assess risks, controls, and compliance with financial regulations Apply risk-based audit methodology to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities Evaluate the effectiveness of financial management practices, reporting accuracy, and internal controls Analyse financial data and systems to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accounting standards Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations Work collaboratively with finance and operational teams to support continuous improvement Requirements Over 5 years of relevant experience in financial auditing Recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. CCAB, AAT), or equivalent audit experience within business, blue-chip, or professional services environments Proven knowledge of risk-based internal audit methodologies Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and financial management concepts Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Cumming Management Group is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
