The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join our team, based out of Penarth. You’ll play a key role in delivering planning and project support across all stages of construction projects from concept design through to completion. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll help ensure programmes are developed, managed, and delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day planning for major projects, working independently and as part of a team
  • Support tendering, contractor/consultant selection, and contract documentation
  • Manage planning and value management processes, including workshops
  • Oversee contract administration, reporting, and chairing project meetings
  • Develop project programmes, monitor milestones, and evaluate risks/opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Deliver work outputs accurately, on time, and in line with company and client standards
  • Mentor junior team members and support their development

About You:

  • Strong background in project planning within construction or infrastructure
  • Confident in using project management tools, critical path analysis, and reporting
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and relationship building
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
