About the Role:
As part of our ongoing growth in the hospitality sector Cumming Group is seeking a forward-thinking Associate Project Manager in London with expertise in the hotel and hospitality sectors. You will play a key role in expanding our Italian portfolio, with a particular focus on the refurbishment and repositioning of existing hotels and the development new build hotel properties. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about the hospitality industry, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and possess a strong track record of project delivery.
The role of an Associate Project Manager Includes the following responsibilities:
- Provide Project Management services through pre and post contract process
- To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
- To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
- Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
- To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
- Provide assistance on general project management tasks such as meeting minutes, dashboard reporting, risk management etc.
- Prepare and assist with the preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluations, contract documentations and reports
- Prepare and assist with the production of cost reports and cost forecasting
- Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team
Key Attributes:
- Degree qualified in Project Manager or similar technical discipline
- Working towards Chartered status
- Ideally experience of working in the Hospitality industry
- A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
- Likeable and warm personality which will fit in and become an integral part of the team
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
- Hospitality or real estate background
