Associate Director – Infrastructure

The Role:
We’re looking for an Associate Director to join our team. Acting as a key ambassador for Cumming Group, you’ll be responsible for managing key client relationships, delivering high-quality services, and driving business growth. You’ll also lead and mentor a team, ensuring strong performance and supporting long-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead service delivery for key clients, maintaining and strengthening relationships
- Support strategic initiatives and identify new growth opportunities
- Manage bids, fee proposals, and resource planning
- Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and change control processes
- Provide leadership, line management, and mentoring for team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client governance, and quality standards
- Support recruitment, training, and development of staff in line with business needs
- Forecast team workload and staffing requirements
- Contribute to business development through networking and client engagement
About You:
- Strong technical knowledge of the construction industry
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong analytical, organisational, and forward-planning abilities
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Highly presentable with the ability to build trust and credibility
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Construction, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- MRICS (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience managing people and delivering multiple or complex projects
