Wigton Nursery and Infant School is a friendly and vibrant school. The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic kitchen team member to join the kitchen team to support smooth service during lunchtimes.
The successful candidates will:
- Be willing to undertake relevant training when required and ideally have experience of working in a busy kitchen
- Have good organisation skills
- Have good communication skills both with adults and children
Wigton Nursery and Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of its pupils, engages with young people and staff in policy and practice developments, proactively encourages feedback and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Shortlisted candidates will be expected to complete a safeguarding declaration form. The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate checks and undertake an enhanced DBS and, where appropriate to the post, a requirement to complete a Childcare Disqualification declaration.
