Bridekirk Dovenby CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant or Senior Teaching Assistant, depending on experience, to support students across our happy and thriving school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and learning to join our friendly, motivated and supportive team.
Responsibilities- Support whole class sessions and provide 1:1 support
- Work with students with SEND
- Encourage independent learning among all pupils
- Create a stimulating and imaginative classroom environment
- Maintain high expectations of both yourself and pupils
- Collaborate as part of a team, being flexible and highly motivated
- Work with children both indoors and outside
- Demonstrate excellent Maths and English skills
- Relevant experience and qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 3 or 4 or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area.
- Experience of working with SEND is desirable.
